Fortunately, WI isnt as backwards as IL with that waterway permit crap like they have on the Fox Chain of Lakes. As long as your boat is properly registered in IL, you can use it at Geneva Lake with no additional permit. Think the fee to launch at Williams Bay is $7.00 (if I remember correctly).
