Lucky you! I have bass fished Kuaii and I had a blast. I recommend getting a guide. Bass Guides of Kuaii put me on some fish. One word of caution: Bring your own gear. Their stuff wasn't so hot. If you are going to go on your own, make sure you get permission to fish or at least find out what areas are open to the public. As far as lures go, spinnerbaits, buzzbaits and rubber craws all caught fish. Given the expense of such a trip, I would go with a guide. I am not a rich man nor am I a spend thrift. But, if you are going to "buy the Rolls Royce" then you might as well get the " air conditioning".

P.S. In-Fisherman recommended a guide in Kuaii...forgot the name of the svc. Might be worth giving them a call.
