I've had more success going shallow on this lake. The cove in back of eagle point was a spawning area-but the last few years I have only caught a few there (that's what happens when people massacre them during spawning)
Muskrat cove usually has bluegill. But you have to work it thouroughly-the bottom is more irregular than you would think. Catch & release will work, but everybody needs to practice it. Good luck
