i take it you'll be fishing in Ill. mostly. Illinois has largemouth,smallmouth,panfish,perch&muskie.there are3 different sections to Wolf lake on the Ill. side.the one called Clear has the best population of smallies to my knowledge.this time of year i'd be using minnows.there are a lot of fish cribs throughout the lakes.if you have a locater you'll have no problem finding them.if you know what you'll be fishing for exactly i'll try to help you a little more precise. good luck.
